Behind it, additional tugs recede into the distance, their decks, railings, and wheelhouses catching the last warm tones of sunset. The industrial waterfront buildings form a solid backdrop, emphasizing the contrast between quiet water and utilitarian maritime labor. The scene captures a calm pause at the end of the day, when working boats rest and the harbor settles into evening.

Lawres' signature and hand numbered on recto, estate signed and stamped on verso, and includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity with an image of the original 35mm slide.
